A spring weekend with three Nebraska matches in one arena. Kentucky, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Stanford and Wisconsin are confirmed in the eight-team field, with two teams still to be named.

- Yes. AVCA says Match Point overlaps with the JVA World Challenge and the JVA 18U National Championships, with hundreds of youth volleyball programs in Louisville April 9–11. The World Challenge uses the Expo Center and the convention center downtown, so book your room early.

Fly
Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) sits across from the Kentucky Exposition Center, home of Freedom Hall: about a mile away, or about 5 miles by road. It's about 7 miles south of downtown. Omaha's and Lincoln's nonstop lists don't include Louisville, so plan on a connection.
Drive
About 700 miles from Omaha and 710 from Lincoln by road.

Downtown to Freedom Hall is about 7 miles by road. TARC runs Louisville's city buses; check TARC's trip planner for a route from your hotel.
Where to stay
Pick the area first, then the hotel. The Expo Center end of town keeps you closest to the arena; downtown puts you near the museums and restaurants.

The shortest trip to Freedom Hall. Go To Louisville lists hotels near the airport and the Expo Center.
Downtown
Museum Row, Whiskey Row and Fourth Street Live! are all here, along with the Louisville Slugger Museum and the Muhammad Ali Center. About 7 miles from Freedom Hall.
NuLu
The East Market Street district, just east of downtown.
The Highlands
The Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue corridor, which Go To Louisville lists among the city's main neighborhoods.

Parking
Freedom Hall's parking page points to Lots E and J, beside Cardinal Stadium, as the closest lots, reached from Ring Road and Circle of Champions. Gate 2 is at 3901 Crittenden Dr. A parking price for this event hasn't been posted.
Bags and entry
Freedom Hall checks bags at every event. Large bags, large backpacks and suitcases aren't allowed. Baby bags are fine; strollers and baby carriers are checked at the door. The Expo Center says leaving and coming back requires another admission.
Busy weekend at the Expo Center
The JVA World Challenge is at the Expo Center the same weekend (April 9–11), and AVCA says the JVA 18U National Championships are in Louisville then too. Leave extra time to park.

One Nebraska match; time TBA. The Louisville Slugger Museum downtown, about 7 miles from Freedom Hall, opens at 10 a.m. Eastern on Sundays.
Food and things to do
Things to do around the matches, with hours from each place's own site. Louisville is on Eastern time, an hour ahead of Omaha and Lincoln.
Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
Factory tours leave every 10 to 30 minutes and take about 30, and a mini bat is included; allow two hours with the museum. Open Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern. There's a city garage behind the building.
Kentucky Derby Museum
Admission includes a guided visit to the Churchill Downs track. Open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern from March 23 to November 30, with free parking in the lot it shares with Churchill Downs.
Muhammad Ali Center
The museum on Muhammad Ali's life and legacy, as a boxer, humanitarian and activist, in his hometown.
A Hot Brown at The Brown Hotel
The open-faced Hot Brown was invented here in 1926. The hotel serves it at J. Graham's Café and the Lobby Bar & Grill, and it's a stop on the Urban Bourbon Trail.
